Dear people of Hyderabad - Do you realize how dangerous it is to install WiFi for your home use and not secure it with a password.
For starters - you are giving access to random people to use the Internet that you have paid for.
Do you realize how much the government might be spending to clamp down on the Internet cafes and here you are just providing a huge ozone layer kind of hole to their security arrangements and funny thing is you are not even aware what you might be doing.
The new routers have a good reach so the people who have figured out that there is free WiFi do not even need to be closer to the homes, they just hang out at the cross roads or in hotels nearby with their phones and are browsing the net at your expense.
People please realize with each tool you use, with each technology that you install comes great responsibility - please find out how to secure the new WiFi router that you just installed and use it judiciously.

I agree. I left it on one day only to realize it was happily available even across the lobby of my apartment complex.
